RDPDesk.com Announces Enhanced Remote Desktop Connection Manager
Foster City, CA, December 13, 2010 — RDPDesk.com announces RDPDesk Version 3.1 with improved usability, user experience, and solution stability. The software for network and systems admins reduces costs and improves efficiency by allowing network and system admins to remote perform administration of servers and desktops.
RDPDesk v3.1 has worked out bugs from earlier versions and introduced new features and enhancements to manage remote connections more efficiently than ever. It remains both free and open source (under the GNU – General Public license) for RDP, ICA and VNC protocols for Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms.
RDPDesk’s Remote Desktop Connection Manager delivers the most comprehensive remote connection solution allowing system administrators to manage the network environment from one command center. It makes the process of accessing vital services easy..
RDPDesk offers a time and cost savings.
“Remote Desktop Connection Manager saves network admins up to an hour a day on remote administration tasks in software and server infrastructure administration,” said Rafael Soultanov (CEO).
In addition, the RDPDesk software reduces costs with reduced software licensing and hardware requirements. Companies do not need to purchase hardware on the server side for each PC that can be accessed remotely.
One of the major changes is the ability to use freerdp library for RDP connection handling. It has also improved the UI re-drawing and responsiveness. There is also added online support and documentation as well as an FAQ and demo video
There have been over 8000 downloads of RD Connection Manager.
RDPDesk launched the RD Connection Manager in December 2009. The commercial version of the RDPDesk software for Windows and Unix will be available by Spring 2011.
